Our deboning cone is manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a food-grade plastic selected for its durability and resistance to wear on cutting tools. Unlike conventional polypropylene deboning cones, HDPE offers a smoother surface that is gentler on knife edges, reducing blade dulling over time while maintaining structural integrity under repeated use.
At 280mm high, the deboning cone is suitable for a wide range of bird sizes, from standard broilers to larger free-range chickens. This size ensures the carcass is held securely during cutting, improving operator control and portioning consistency.
The mounting system is engineered for stability. While many cones rely on a single bolt or clamp, both prone to loosening during operation, this unit features a robust stainless steel mounting assembly. Dual square plates are positioned above and below the cutting table, each secured with fixings at all four corners. This configuration significantly increases torsional resistance, ensuring the cut-up cone remains firmly in place, even under the mechanical forces generated during carcass manipulation and cutting.
